//next by ERGO is a brand new platform for current topics, trends and developments in the tech world

Media Information, 24.11.2020

ERGO is going live with its own online magazine that will focus on digitalisation and innovations: next.ergo.com opens up a world of insightful content, including blog posts, interviews, videos, podcasts and debates on the latest technological developments, both in the insurance industry and beyond. The authors and interview partners are experts in the field of innovation and technology, futurologists, innovation scouts and networkers from the digital scene.

“Technological innovations such as robotics, artificial intelligence and interactive voice response systems are increasingly becoming part of our private and professional everyday life. As insurers, we need to keep pace and become tech experts”, says Mark Klein, Chief Digital Officer ERGO Group, at the launch of the online magazine today. “For ERGO, it is increasingly important to think outside the box. We can and want to learn from the disruptive approaches of others by means of a common, even controversial discourse.”
The new platform //next by ERGO features the latest news on topics, trends and developments from the world of technology. The primary focus is on dialogue. The new magazine will cover a broad field of topics, ranging from the benefits of artificial intelligence to the use of the latest smart devices and in-depth debates on issues relating to working culture. Cybersecurity expert Sandro Gayken will be providing insight into his work, Markus Sekulla from the tech blog MobileGeeks will have a regular column and digital strategist Christoph Bornschein will be discussing digital developments with ERGO Board Member Klein.

The launch of the magazine will be supported by a social media campaign with the claim “Challenging Digital”, chosen to reflect the discourse-based character of //next by ERGO.

“Since 2016, we have significantly expanded our technological capabilities and created a unique and successful business model focusing on the ‘Hybrid Client’. Publishing our own magazine is the next logical step in ERGO’s digital journey”, says Klein.
