On tuesday, at the Merantix AI Campus, we brought together leading experts for a dynamic panel discussion on “GenAI for Product and Design Teams: Accelerating Innovation & Collaboration.”
This event explored how Generative AI (GenAI) is redefining the innovation landscape, reshaping collaboration, and sparking critical debates about the evolving roles within teams.
🗨️ Guided by the expertise of our panelists Natallia Shauchenka (BCG X), Samuel Tschepe (Hasso Plattner Institute), Zamina Ahmad (shades&contrast) and Luisa-Marie Schmolke (ERGO) – and moderated by the Head of the ERGO Innovation Lab, Georgina Neitzel – the discussion tackled key questions about the opportunities and challenges GenAI presents for product and design teams.

🤖 Technology with a human touch? That’s what “Chara” provides. “Chara” is the AI companion for our customers in Greece, named after the Greek word for “Joy”. It is an AI-powered Virtual Agent – a chatbot –, residing on the ergohellas.gr website.
“Chara” is designed to meet the growing demand for round-the-clock customer service. Built on Microsoft Azure, “Chara” undergoes continuous NLP (natural language processing) optimisations, ensuring personalised 24/7 assistance.
The vision for “Chara” in the near future involves expanding her repertoire of capabilities and use cases to further enhance the after-sales experience of our customers. “Chara” makes the work of our colleagues in Greece easier, giving them time to focus on more complex problems.

"Together for Diversity: Growing Together." 🌱
With this motto the DIVERSITY Conference 2024 once again demonstrated the importance of a diverse and open society for economic innovation and growth. 🚀 One focus of the conference was generational diversity – a topic that is highly relevant to us at ERGO. With an average employee age of 45, we are actively addressing how to bring together Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, Millennials, and Gen Zers in the workplace.
