Google AdWords conversion tracking

We use Google conversion tracking. As part of this process, Google AdWords places a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you were directed to our site by a Google ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. When you visit certain sites of ours and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can tell that someone has clicked on the ad and was then directed to our site. Every AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with conversion cookies is used to compile conversion statistics. AdWords customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were then directed to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

If you don’t want the ads displayed for you on your various devices to be coordinated, you can turn off personalised ads in the Ad Settings
