Part-time apprenticeship?

That's possible at ERGO in Hamburg

ERGO offers two training positions per year in Hamburg for the profession "Office Management Assistant" per year, which are tailored to young adults who, for a variety of individual reasons, find it more difficult than others to enter the world of work – for example due to early parenthood or a less linear educational path.

"I am very happy that I can do my training at ERGO as a mother of two," says Nicole Ferreira Cardoso, a trainee in office management. After school and a voluntary social year, the young woman had two children early on. Now she has started a part-time apprenticeship at ERGO.

Cooperation with foundation ERGO Stiftung Jugend & Zukunft

"We have developed a programme that enables young people who have had a difficult start to their careers to train with us," says Franziska Wernicke, HR training consultant at ERGO in Hamburg. ERGO works closely with the "ERGO Stiftung Jugend & Zukunft" (ERGO Foundation Youth & Future), which advises young people on starting their careers and collaborates with various Hamburg institutions.

Specifically, this means that ERGO offers two training positions per year in Hamburg for the profession "Office Management Assistant" per year, which are tailored to the requirements of this special target group: young adults who, for a variety of individual reasons, find it more difficult than others to enter the world of work – for example due to early parenthood or a less linear educational path.

Training plays an important role at ERGO

Training has traditionally played an important role at ERGO. Around 770 young people are currently learning various professions at the seven major administrative locations in in-house and sales roles.

Sandra Theisen, Head of Learning & Training at ERGO, says: "We are grateful for the close cooperation with the Youth & Future Foundation. Together, we act as a gateway to the world of work."
