ERGO Group AG honoured as ‘Top Employer Germany’ for the third time

“In Germany, you speak of a "hattrick" when a team wins a title three times in a row. We are very proud of the ‘Top Employer Germany’ award, and to have received it for the third time in a row. It confirms that we are consistently pursuing the right initiatives and are perceived as an employer offering a wide range of opportunities and a stable, modern environment – both by our employees and by applicants,” says Dr. Lena Lindemann, Labour Director and Member of the Board of Management of ERGO Group AG.

The Top Employers Institute recognizes companies that meet the highest standards in their human resources work. The certification process is based on an extensive, data-driven questionnaire that covers key areas of human resources management.

The current certification shows that ERGO was either able to achieve significant improvements in 19 out of 20 subject areas or maintain the very good results from the previous year despite increased demands in some areas.

ERGO performed particularly well in the areas of ‘Employer Listening’ (e.g. regular employee surveys), ‘Career’ (development and career opportunities), ‘People Strategy’ (e.g. methods and initiatives for employee recruitment and retention), ‘Leadership’ ( example, continuous development of executives) and ‘Diversity, Equity & Inclusion DEI’ (for example, training of executives on DEI principles and integrative behaviours) – in these areas, ERGO has not only improved again compared to the previous year, but is even above the respective benchmark.
