How did you start your career?

I started my professional life with an apprenticeship as an insurance saleswoman. I then completed my studies in International Business & Management in the Netherlands. I went through various positions at ERGO in Investment Controlling and Corporate Development, headed up Product Management Motor, Operations Consulting and now Organizational Development.

I am responsible for organizational development and ensure that processes are aligned with customer needs, quality standards and efficiency. To this end, we analyze the need for change via complaints, regulations and technologies. In the context of security, we ensure that identity & access management functions smoothly. Reducing complexity and focusing on simplicity are our driving forces.

What does your everyday life look like?

My day-to-day life is a colorful mix of work meetings, discussions with the team and colleagues, workshops on ideas and problems, home office, homeschooling, everyday family life, and every now and then an hour of yoga to myself.

What gives you energy in your work life?

I draw energy in my working life mainly from big and small successes, working with people and tricky questions that need to be solved.

How would you describe your leadership style?

My leadership style is always adapted to the situation. Depending on the topic and the experience of the team members, it takes more or less leadership. I am happy when my team acts on its own responsibility, but at the same time has the security of knowing that I will support when I am needed.
